PART discusses international documentary fest

Muscat: The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Radio and Television (PART) held a meeting chaired of Dr Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, PART Chairman, at its headquarters in Muscat on Tuesday. The Board reviewed the work progress in PART’s sectors during the last period. A presentation was also given on the financial position of PART budget until the end of the second quarter of 2017, and the position of the development budget for 2017, as well as the PART budget for 2018. The Board welcomed the proposal to establish an international documentary film festival, which will contribute to highlighting the Sultanate’s name and enhance the achievements of PART in the production of documentaries. Additionally, the PART Board thanked its employees at various sectors for their efforts in covering events in all governorates. — ONA
