MoH Contact Centre organises awareness day

MUSCAT: An awareness day titled “Towards an Aware Society” was organised recently at Muscat City Centre under the auspices of Dr Ali bin Talib al Hinai, Under-Secretary of Ministry of Health for Planning Affairs. The event, which organised by the Public Relations and Communication Department, represented by the Contact Centre in the Ministry of Health (MOH), aimed to familiarise the public about the various roles of the ministry by presence of the competent teams. The awareness event included number of corners covering the services of the Contact Centre, tobacco control awareness, introducing the Investment and Financing Alternatives Department, the services provided in mental health, communicable diseases and AIDS, as well as entertainment corner for children.
