Asian arrested: Commits murder in home, enters Oman illegally

Buraimi police has arrested a man of Asian nationality who committed murder in his home country and fled to the sultanate. The police had received information that the accused was hiding in a house in Buraimi, following which he was arrested and interrogated. In his statement, he confessed to the crime said that he managed to leave his country for one of the Gulf nations and entered Oman illegally. ROP has been able to establish the relationship with the murder and will hand him over to the competent authorities in accordance with established procedures.
