Money stolen from woman after hands tied, suspect arrested

Royal Oman Police's (ROP) department of Criminal Investigation team, led by the South Batinah police, has arrested an accused of Asian nationality who managed to steal more than RO17,000 from an Asian woman after he tied her hands in her residence in Barka. The suspect was arrested at Muscat International Airport when he tried to leave the country. He was seized with all the stolen money and charged for with the crime. He was referred to the prosecution to complete the rest of the legal proceedings.
