The Salalah Festival Nights Show hosted the legendary Omani singer-composer Salim bin Ali Said on Sunday. The Al Murooj theatre was packed to capacity with officials, singers, poets and journalists and fans receiving and greeting the Dhofar-born singer whose fame spread not only in Oman but also in the region and the wider Arab world. Bin Ali spoke about his singing career which spanned over 30 years. He also chanted one of songs amidst fans’ enthusiasm. The Festival Nights Show hosts a singing pioneer every Sunday.
