Arab Travellers Forum starts on Thursday

SALALAH: The Arab Travellers team will organise the Arab Travellers Forum in the Governorate of Dhofar from August 10 to 12 with the participation of 75 travellers from the GCC countries and 10 members from the organisers. The Arab Travellers team will be staying at the Marriott Resort in Mirbat, starting with the program to visit prominent tourist and historic sites in the Governorate of Dhofar that include visiting the Land of Frankincense Museum and the festival. The forum aims to highlight the tourist side in Dhofar in particular and Oman in general, as most of the travellers are be pioneers of social media. The team’s objectives represented in sharing expertise and local experiences, technical know-how and optimal selection for the tourism sector, as well as providing services and facilities for travellers through guidance programmes and leaflets. — ONA
