GCC Forum for Blind begins in Salalah

SALALAH: Activities of the 12th GCC forum for Blind began today at the Theatre of the Directorate General of Culture and Heritage under the title “Khareef is the Forum for Blind” The opening ceremony of the five-day forum was held under the auspices of Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan bin Hamoud al Busaidy, Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar. The forum is being organised by Al-Noor Association for the Blind, Dhofar Branch, within the framework of the activities of Salalah Tourist Festival 2017. The forum involves a number of blind persons form the GCC countries, in addition to participants from Yemen and Iraq. It includes several cultural and sport activities and competitions for the participating delegations, besides organising tours and scientific journeys. — ONA
