100 women arrested for illegal activities in Al Khuwair

The Criminal Investigations Department of the Boucher Police Station arrested 100 women of Asian and African nationalities for prostitution in the area. An official source in the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said that police officers arrested the suspects after they were found to be moving around in public places in the Al Khuwair area, to engage in prostitution with the owners of the vehicles in return for money. The defendants were arrested and charged with the crime and referred to the public prosecution for legal procedures .
