Al Hawtah road closed after landslide

The Ministry of Transport and Communications has said that the Al Hawtah road in the Rakhyout area of Dhofar has been immediately closed for traffic following instances of landslide in the area due to heavy rains. It added that since it will be difficult to carry out maintenance work on the road due to continuous rains and fog, motorists should use the alternative route.
