Police seize crackers in Suhar

SUHAR: The Directorate of Customs at North Al Batinah Police Command has arrested an Omani for smuggling firecrackers into the Sultanate. The police seized 1,206 boxes of firecrackers which the accused concealed amidst other goods in his vehicle. The police impounded the vehicle and took legal action against the defendant.
