Asian arrested for murder

MUSCAT: An Asian national was arrested in connection with murdering a compatriot in Ruwi. The Royal Oman Police (ROP) cracked the case which took place in Muscat Governorate after they arrested the suspect for attempting to kill two compatriots and assaulting them with a knife. A ROP source said ‘the suspect had admitted to the crime and they had failed to carry out similar attack earlier. All the suspects were handed over the public prosecution later to complete the proceedings.
