Omani Dates Festival in Nizwa

The main committee in charge of Omani Dates Festival has conducted a preparatory meeting ahead of the fifth Omani Dates Festival under the chairmanship of under-secretary of Fisheries and Agriculture. The members discussed issues pertaining to logistic affairs of the festival, events and activities accompanying the festival. A visual presentation was displayed on companies competing to organise the event which will be held in Nizwa. The meeting was attended by wali of Nizwa and representatives from Oman Chamber for Commerce and Industry in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, Royal Oman Police, Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources in Nizwa and Riyada.
