Ministry says monitoring private firms defaulting on salaries

The Ministry of Manpower (MoM) has said that the wage protection system is active, which enables the concerned authorities to monitor that salaries are paid on time in the private sector. In a statement the ministry said that it can now take necessary action against the defaulting companies even without receiving the formal complaints from the employees.
