Five people hospitalised after fire engulfs Barka apartment

The fire department of the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA) said that it took control of a fire and fire in a residential apartment Barka. At 9am on September 16, the PACDA operations center received report of a fire in one of the apartments. The fire and ambulance teams immediately rushed to to the site and prevented the spread to neighboring apartments, which resulted in injuries to five people due to smoke inhalation. They injured were transferred to the Barka health center after receiving emergency care from the ambulance team. Properties damages have been also reported. PACDA urged the people to take preventive procedures and requirements in residential and commercial buildings to avoid loss of lives and property.
