Holiday for Islamic New Year to be on September 24

The government has said that if the first day of Muharram falls on Friday, September 22, then the holiday will be on Sunday, the third day of Muharram, which corresponds to September 24. The first day of the Islamic New Year shall be an official holiday for ministry, public authority and other government sector employees.
