New automotive tech college

MUSCAT: The Minister of Higher Education has issued a ministerial decision for setting up the National College for Automotive Technology in Muscat Governorate. The college will be an independent entity that will be subject to rules and decisions regulating all colleges and institutes in the Sultanate. The founders of the college will be given six months starting on Monday for completing study requirements and other procedures needed to process the college’s works. To begin the study, a decision should be issued by the Minister of Higher Education following the completion of all academic and human requirements of the college. Omanis and expats holding General Education Diploma and its equivalent can enrol at the institution.
