TRC announces water science awards

MUSCAT: The Research Council (TRC) and Sultan Qaboos Higher Center for Culture and Science (SQHCCS), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, launched the 2nd edition of Research and Innovations Award in Water Science. The award aims at enhancing the role of scientific research and backing and supporting the outstanding innovative initiatives of individuals, research teams, academic researchers, companies and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Winners will be awarded under two categories the Scientific Publication Category in Field of Water and the Innovations Category in the Field of Water. The second edition of the award has been introduced within the strategic research programme for water research approved by TRC as per the recommendations of 3rd symposium of Sultan Qaboos Scientific chairs. Candidates can apply online for the award from September 18-31.
