Seeb Municipality extends service timings

Muscat, Oct 1 - The Muscat Municipality has extended its service timings in Seeb for technical transactions. The municipality has tweeted on its official account that starting from October 1, its office in Seeb would be open for technical transactions on Mondays and Wednesdays. The public can visit the municipality on these days for processing their technical transactions from 8 am to 2 am. Earlier, such transactions were conducted between 8 am and 9 am. The municipality said the decision was taken in order to accelerate the transaction processes and provide ample time for the public to sit with inspectors at the technical directorate at the municipality. With this decision, 450 transactions are likely to be conducted every week instead of the current 350. The decision was welcomed by the public. Many felt the municipality should look at other services and earmark different days for opening offices to the public.
