North Al Batinah health services panel meets

Muscat, Oct 4 - The first meeting of the Coordination and Follow-up Committee for North Al Batinah Health Services was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Dr Ali Talib al Hinai, Under-Secretary for Planning Affairs, Ministry of Health. The meeting followed up on the provision of healthcare at North Al Batinah and examined the challenges encountered in the implementation of works in the governorate. The meeting was attended by the Governorate Health Services Director General, Director of Suhar Referral Hospital, Director of Primary Health Care, Director of Administrative Affairs, Director of Financial Affairs, Director of Nursing, in addition to the Director of the Governorate Planning and Studies. It was also attended by the MoH Advisor for Studies and Administrative Development. A range of topics were reviewed, including the primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare services, emergency and crises, and beneficiaries’ satisfaction. The meeting reviewed community services and works of the governorate’s wilayat health committees. It addressed issues raised in the media as well as topics related to human resources development.
