DEFENCE TIES WITH IRAN HAILED

TEHRAN: Brigadier General Amir Hatami, Iranian Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistical Support, received at the headquarters of the Iranian Defence Ministry Air Vice Marshal Matar bin Ali al Obaidani. The Iranian Minister commended the good relations binding the Sultanate with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The meeting exchanged viewpoints on matters of common concern. The meeting was attended by the Sultanate’s ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the delegation accompanying RAFO Commander, the Omani Military Attaché at the Sultanate’s Embassy in Tehran and senior officers. — ONA
