Swedish trade minister arrives

Muscat: Ann Linde, Minister of European Union (EU) Affairs and Trade of the Kingdom of Sweden and her accompanying delegation arrived here on Tuesday on a two-day visit to the Sultanate to explore means of enhancing the economic and investment relations. Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will host a meeting on Wednesday at its premises between the Swedish trade delegation and their Omani counterparts during which they will discuss strengthening the Omani-Swedish relations in the industrial, investment and economic sectors. The minister and her accompanying delegation were received at Muscat International Airport by Ahmed bin Hassan al Dheeb, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and officials. — ONA
