Sultanate flays attack in Bahrain

MUSCAT: The Sultanate has condemned the terrorist attack which targeted a police bus west of the Bahraini capital, Manama, on Friday killing one policeman and injuring 8 others. In a statement, the Foreign Ministry affirmed the Sultanate’s solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain against violence, terrorism and destabilisation offering its condolences to the victim’s family and wishing the injured speedy recovery. Authorities in Bahrain opened an investigation into the attack and police began a manhunt to find and arrest the assailants, officials said.
