Oman, Maldives to enhance ties

MUSCAT: Dr Mohammed bin Awadh al Hassan, Acting Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, received Zenysha Shaheed Zaki, Minister of Gender and Family of the Republic of Maldives on Sunday. The meeting reviewed aspects of the bilateral cooperation between the Sultanate and the Maldives and means of enhancing the existing relations in various fields. The Maldivian guest expressed her delight over the achievements and comprehensive development made by the Sultanate. She pointed out that the Sultanate is considered a model in the field of maternity care, childhood and family affairs. — ONA
