OCCI opens branch in Al Batinah

AL RUSTAQ: Shaikh Saad bin Mohammed al Saadi, Minister of Sports Affairs, on Wednesday patronised over the opening ceremony of the new building of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) Branch in the Governorate of South Al Batinah. Hamoud bin Salim al Saadi, Head of the OCCI Board in the Governorate of South Al Batinah branch, said that OCCI branches play an important role in serving the private sector through issuing affiliation certificates and renewing them, approving commercial activities, certificates of origin and approving documents, as well as conducting economic research and studies, preparing and organising training courses and organising visits for business delegations. The opening ceremony was attended by members of Majlis Ash’shura and walis in the governorate, government officials, businessmen and businesswomen. — ONA
