Diabetes drive tomorrow

MUSCAT: A diabetes awareness campaign is being organised on Wednesday by the Al Khuwair Health Centre in collaboration with the Directorate General of Health Affairs, Muscat Governorate. It will be held from 9 am to 1 pm at the Bank Muscat head office. The campaign coincides with the World Diabetes Day, which is observed on November 14. The World Diabetes Day aims to raise awareness about prevention and control of diabetes and its related complications. Living with diabetes is tough but with proper knowledge about its prevention and treatment, quality of life and productivity of nation can be improved.
