PART board meeting reviews progress

MUSCAT: The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Radio and Television (PART) held a meeting at the Authority HQs’ under the chairmanship of Dr Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, PART Chairman. The board discussed issues related to enhancing the great development witnessed by Oman Radio and TV. The Board approved setting up a sector for art operations to organisations operational work delegated to the media sector at the Authority. The Board reviewed the development plans for the e-media sector during the coming period with the aim of developing the Authority’s e-platforms, such as websites, applications and accounts. The move comes in a bid to provide a media content that keeps pace with the devilment witnessed in the field of e-media. The Board recommended enhancing financial resources of the PART and taking necessary measures to develop them. — ONA
