Shaheen launches weekly Muscat-Multan flight

MUSCAT: Shaheen Air, the second national carrier of Pakistan, launched weekly flight from Muscat to Multan, the ancient spiritual city of Sufis and Saints effective from December 1. Pakistani expatriates in Oman, a large community, will now be able to fly non-stop to the country’s 5th most populous city Multan, which is also the premier centre for southern Punjab province as Shaheen Air International launches its maiden weekly flight to Multan, effective from December 1. Shaheen Air is looking to expand its operations in Oman as part of its growth strategy outlined for the Sultanate,” said Huzaifa Halai, Manager Oman, Shaheen Air. The airline has also enhanced its frequency to Islamabad from two to three flights a week effective from November 26. Flights from Muscat to Islamabad will now operate every Sunday, Tuesday and Fridays. The flight NL679 will depart from Muscat every Friday at 3.15 am and arrive at Multan at 7 am. It will leave Multan every Friday at 8 am and arrive in Muscat at 10 am.
