Yousuf bin Alawi, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, led the Sultanate delegation to the Council of Arab Ministers for Foreign Affairs in Cairo. The meeting discussed the developments resulting from the US President Donald Trump's announcement that recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the subsequent protests in the Arab world, and the need to preserve the status of Jerusalem, religious, legal and historical status.
