MOCI rules out water presence in LPG cylinders

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) has denied reports about the presence of water in domestic gas cylinders. The Directorate General of Standardization and Metrology said that the chemical components that constitute LPG make the gas in the cylinders in the form of cool liquid.
The ministry confirmed that the liquid contained in the gas cylinder is not water but a gas substance which is very dangerous.
The General Directorate of Standardization and Metrology called on citizens and residents to deal with the gas cylinders carefully to and not to ignite it in the event of an adverse atmosphere.
