Fossil reefs resembling frankincense tree found

Muscat: Said bin Salim Ghawas has found fossil reefs resembling the frankincense tree at Al Najd area in the Wilayat of Thamrait in Dhofar. The discovered coral reef still has the smell of the sea suggesting that the area was under the sea in ancient times.
