Oman regrets escalation of violence in Yemen: Statement

Oman has expressed its deep regret at the escalation of unjustified violence in Yemen, especially with reports about the use of ballistic missiles on the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. A statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday said, 'At the time when intensive efforts and consultations are being made to find political solutions to the problem of war in Yemen, Oman calls on all parties to exercise restraint and avoid escalation that could harm regional and international efforts to find political and humanitarian solutions to this problem.'
