No photography near Two Holy Mosques: Saudi authorities

The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs has urged all Hajj companies, residents and citizens in Oman not to photograph any kind within the premises of the Two Holy Mosques in Saudi Arabia. The ministry statement followed a circular issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia on the issue of filming within the premises of The Two Holy Mosques. The circular has been issued as part of the efforts to create a climate of worship and avoid any short of confusion to the pilgrims visiting the mosques due to filming and photography within the Two Holy Mosques In case of any violation, the competent authorities in Saudi Arabia will confiscate the cameras and other shooting equipment.
