National football players visit NOC

MUSCAT: The national football players on Tuesday visited the sick children at the National Oncology Centre (NOC) in the Royal Hospital. Dr Jasim al Shukaili, Vice-Chairman of the Oman Football Association said: “It is our honour to award the 23rd Gulf Cup Championship held in Kuwait to all of the Omani people which gave us the impetus to crown this Gulf championship”. He also added, “The aim of our visit to NOC patients was to enhance the moral aspects of the patients”. Fayez al Rushaidi, goalkeeper of the national team said, “We would like to share our happiness with the patients at the Royal Hospital for this sport achievement”. During the visit, the national team distributed gifts for the patients, as well as taking photos with the Championship Cup.
