Bidbid-Sur road is now Sharqiyah Expressway

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Transport and Communications has changed the names of Bidbid-Sur dual road to Sharqiyah Expressway and Sohar Industrial Port to the Port of Sohar. The 248-km Sharqiyah Expressway, currently developed by the ministry and passes through the governorates of North and South Al Sharqiyah, is one of the major roads in the Sultanate. Once completed, it will be the main and central road linking Muscat with the governorates of North and South Al Sharqiyah.
