Asian expats nabbed with 70 chips for phone fraud

The police has arrested a gang of 22 people and seized 60 mobile phones, 70 chips that were used by them in accused in telephone related fraud cases. The Royal Oman Police confirmed that Department of Criminal Investigation in Muscat the accused were of the Asian nationality and they tried to trap citizens and residents into financial scam. ROP has warned the people of becoming victims to financial frauds through mobile phones, Internet and called people not to attend anonymous accounts or phone calls.
