ROP denies warning message on social media

Royal Oman Police (ROP) has said that they not issued any message urging citizens and residents not to venture out at night. The police was responding to a message that went viral on the social media, which urged people not to go out with a stranger or talk to them at night.  'Do not even allow your men to go out ... because the criminals may be armed. All you have to do is contact the police and tell them about the incident.'
