The Al Rustaq Municipality has executed a number of road infrastructure projects in 2017 the latest and most important of which was the Wadi Bani Souq bridge which solved the problem of traffic disruptions during rainfall and streamlined access to Al Rustaq Hospital and the health centre. The municipality also implemented the Wadi Bani Hani bridge which links together the villages of Wadi Bani Hani.
