WB programmes discussed

MUSCAT: Darwish bin Ismaeel al Balushi, Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs, received in his office on Thursday Dr Mirza Hasan, Executive Director, the Sultanate Representative in the World Bank Group, within the framework of his current annual GCC tour. The meeting discussed the existing technical cooperation programme between the Sultanate and the World Bank, as well as highlighting the most important programmes for the Sultanate and determining how to gain the most benefit out of these programmes, especially as the World Bank is one of the specialised agencies of the United Nations dealing with development. The meeting was attended by the adviser at the Finance Ministry. — ONA
