Water supply in Seeb affected by red tide in Barka

The Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) said the operations at Barka desalination plant continues to be affected by the Red Tide situation near Barka. The Central Emergency Committee has called for all measures to ensure that the residents of Seeb and Dhakilyah are not impacted due to the shortage of water. PAEW has again urged the residents of Seeb and Dhakilyah to rationalize water consumption till the normalcy resumes at the desalination plant.
