TRADITIONAL BOAT RACE HELD IN SUR

SUR: The Directorate of Sports Affairs in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate organised a traditional boat race at Khur Al Batah in the Wilayat of Sur yesterday. The race which was sponsored by Oman LNG saw a strong competition from the participating teams. The Oman LNG team won the first place. The race was aimed at revitalising the Omani maritime heritage in general and that of the Wilayat of Sur in particular. — ONA
