Fifa fines Al Khabourah Club

Sports Reporter - MUSCAT: The world football’s governing body Fifa has imposed a fine of $60,000 on Al Khabourah Club over the sacking of its former Iraqi coach Yassin Amal. The club signed a contract with the Iraqi coach to train the first team but the club later decided to sack him without paying his dues triggering the coach to file a lawsuit with the Fifa against the club. After studying the case, the Fifa decided to impose a fine of $60,000 on Al Khabourah Club to be paid to the coach. In a previous case, Fifa fined Al Khabourah Club fined for failing to pay three Jordanian players their dues.
