Poachers arrested in Saham

MUSCAT: A group of poachers have been arrested by the wildlife rangers of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs in the Wilayat of Saham in North Al Batinah Governorate. The poachers hunted down 7 wild pigeons by using fire arms in Saih Al Taeybat. Other poachers were arrested for illegally hunting two wild pigeons in Khur Al Milh in Saham in a clear violation to the Law on Conservation of the Environment and Prevention of Pollution. The Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs urges citizens and residents to coordinate with the authorities in protecting the wildlife.
