Photography training course organised in South Al Batinah

YAHYA AL SALMANI MUSCAT, March 12 A total of 30 amateur and professional lensmen took part in a photography course organised by the Photography Club of South Al Batinah Governorate. Photographers from the wilayats of Barka, Wadi al Maawil and Nakhl participated in the course. It was organised in coordination with the tourism management in the governorate. The course aided photographers to understand the basics of light, besides helping them buy a “reasonable camera”. Participants also learned about shutter speed and aperture. The theme of the course was, ‘Explore tourist destinations in South Al Batinah’. Its main goals were developing photographers’ skills and promoting tourism attraction sites in South Al Batinah. The Photography Club will hold an exhibition Bait al Na’aman in Barka next month, which will showcase the best collection of photographs captured by the participants.
