Vertical farming technique augurs well for strawberry cultivation in Barka

Muscat: A farmer from Halban in the Wilayat of Barka got an extraordinary yield of strawberry after applying the vertical farming technique in his farm. The farmer brought the vertical farming technique to his farm from the Agriculture Research Department in Al Rumays in the Wilayat of Barka a year ago.  The picture has been taken from the citizen’s farm in Halban.
