Unlicensed shops raided in Muscat

The Urban Inspection Department of Muscat Municipality has sealed a number of shops in the Jiffnain and Al Khoud area either operating without a license and or for not renewing the licenses within the time frame. The municipality also raided a residential flat in the North Ghubra area where expatriate workers were carrying out furniture maintenance and upholstery contrary to municipal regulations and laws.
