Sports Affairs Minister on China visit

MUSCAT: Shaikh Saad bin Mohammed al Saadi, Minister of Sports Affairs, is paying an official several-day visit to the People’s Republic of China. He is accompanied by officials at the Ministry of Sports Affairs and sport authorities. The visit comes within the framework of strengthening the bilateral relations binding the Sultanate and China, as well as exploring means of promoting cooperation between the two sides. The visit also includes an official session of talks with Gou Zhongwen, Chinese Sports Minister, a visit to the Beijing Sports University, a visit to facilities of the National Water Games Centre, National Olympic Complexes and other sports facilities in Beijing. — ONA
