Muscat Municipality and the Directorate-General of Information Technology held a meeting with a private company to discuss the installation of mobile surveillance cameras near wadis and other open public areas to curb random dumping. A statement from the municipality said that in spite its ongoing efforts, people continue to dump waste at a number of locations in the city.
