Boost to ties with Hungary

MUSCAT: Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, received in his office on Wednesday Szilveszter Bus, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary. The two sides discussed the march of the existing friendship relations between the two countries in political, economic and trade fields. They also discussed signing an agreement on mutual visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, service and special passports between the Sultanate and Hungary. A session of political consultations was held between the Sultanate’s Foreign Ministry and the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The Omani side was headed by Dr Mohammed bin Awadh al Hassan, Acting Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, whilst it was chaired from the Hungarian side by Szilveszter Bus, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. — ONA
