MSM index declines 7 points

MUSCAT: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index 30 on Sunday lost 7.15 points, comprising a decline by 0.15 per cent to close at 4718.48 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4725.63 points. The trading value today stood at RO 4,430,598, comprising a rise by 7.9 per cent compared to the last session, which stood at RO 4,104,822. The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value fell by 0.043 per cent to reach about RO 17.75 billion. The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 495,000, comprising 11.18 per cent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 602,000, comprising 13.58 per cent. The net non-Omani investment dropped by 2.40 per cent to RO 106,000. — ONA
