Discussion on 4th industrial revolution held

MUSCAT, MAY 9 - A high-level discussion on 4th industrial revolution under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Adham al Said was held at the PACA auditorium on Tuesday. Organised by Ithraa, Oman’s inward investment and export development agency, the discussion was a part of the series of four informal, highly-interactive evening discussions named ‘Inside Stories’. The discussion chaired by top technocrats and experts who shared their thoughts on the fourth industrialisation scenario with special focus on Oman. The discussion also delved into the global industrialisation scenario in the backdrop of the address by German economist, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, who called the fourth industrial revolution “nothing less than a transformation of humankind.” Kabeer Yousuf
